2018 - 2019 AURORA.
My memory inspires this series. There are paintings created from the intimate and fictional gaze of a photographer and his models. These scenarios relate to portraiture, figurative painting, and classic fashion photography. They evoke passages of memory where the protagonist is the portrayed subject. Through painting arises the appropriation of the image that charges the scenarios with subjectivity, giving them an aura of passive nostalgia.
